NEST REMOVAL: £25 extra.
All birds, their nest and eggs are protected by the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981
Active nests cannot be removed between March and September as it is illegal except in certain circumstances.
Please be aware that nest removals can be messy. Often when the nest is removed, it falls in small amounts. However, on occasions the nest can fall as one whole unit and soot dust can fall with it, depending on the amount of soot in the chimney at that time. If a chimney has been swept regularly, the amount of soot present will be less than a chimney that has not been swept for many years.
Although we apply a ground sheet and some furniture sheets, we do advise that any furniture you feel needs extra protection is covered with sheets of your own. This is purely as a precaution.
